Sadly, another young person almost lost his life to violence by another. It happened in Boston where shootings and violence are common but “newsworthy”. What about Chicago where this happens routinely every day and nothing gets reported about those, sometimes innocent kids, who also loose their lives?
It’s not about guns, it’s about people without morals and upbringing. Of course there are the mental cases but MOST OF THE TIME, it is the people who have little or no home life and proper upbringing. Guns are nothing more than a tool to get the job done. Why not spend our time on the SOCIAL issues that are the real cause of these senseless killings. My prayers for this young man and the hundereds other like him.
We’re not allowed to talk about some of the root causes of ghetto violence. Because so many of the criminals are members of officially recognized aggrieved minorities, per liberals, any criticism is called racist. We’re not allowed to talk about the baby mama culture and the destruction of family life in the ghetto, because that denigrates single mothers.
My take on it is that liberals won’t allow discussion of certain aspects of these problems. So we have to dance around the issues. As horrific as mass shootings are, liberals have been silent for decades about all the gang violence, drive by shootings in the ghetto.
