the same and even better protection could be provided by having volunteers.....why not try that first?.......we don’t need another army of govt employees to fund/benefit/pension at age 40.
volunteer firemen do not get paid, but at least in our area, if you give 20 yrs you can get a small pension at at 62 or 65 as a thankyou...
why not the same for policing?...especially schools...do we really want more govt interference in schools?
