Oh, I don’t know, not having a lot of ammo, is a good thing. Maybe they won’t shoot so many family pets for “sport.” I know I feel safer knowing that they are unable to resupply! Next thing we need to do is shut down Dunkin’ Doughnuts.
You know, that’s not a bad idea. If the government is threatening gun ownership then a great protest would be for gun companies to refuse to sell any more arms or ammunition to government agencies. Starve the beast and its ability to do harm to its citizens.

Not much gets past the Brady bunch.
Required training and qualification using (and depleting) existing ammo stocks. Multiple departments using the range will keep it busy.
Also, some departments reload practice ammo.
Yeah, might be a good idea to buy up everything we can even if we dont need it.. if we buy it prices stay high supplies stay low and certain people cant get enough. Win win.
Works for me. I get mine in bags from Costco. If only I could get them to sell ammo.
Build more effing ammo factories, make jobs, it will stimulate the economy.
In WW2 we had a MASSIVE armaments manufacturing base.
Why don’t they just reload like they used to do.
It would cut down on the expense too.
They can ask Holder to get it back from the Mexican drug cartel (Fast and Furious) or check the White House for help. Then again, Bam Bam can get the weapons and ammo back from the Taliban and Muslim Brotherhood (ask Hillary for help) that he sent via Benghazi, ya think? I’m no expert, but there are probably many ways the hacks in DC could find ammo they secretly sent to our enemies.
It’s the Dept. of Homeland Security that will be the Einsatzkommando the local cops will be involved as part of a “Jurisdictional task force for gun safety. They will will get to play back up when the DHS folks decide to do the stormtrooper stomp thru your neighborhood.
Could be, but that might not work out so well for them. Most of the DHS employees that I have seen are affirmative action hires that probably wouldn’t have made the grade on any serious police force.
You can dress up a lazy, uneducated slob in swat gear and give them a submachinegun, but they’ll still be a lazy, uneducated slob. So, if they plan on using those folks as shock troops to take on American gun owners, many of whom are combat veterans, it might not go so well for them.
