I saw someone had Robert Plant's version of this song, Little Sister, which has been covered by dozenls. My favorite though is this one:

This record tells the story of the December, 1927 kidnapping and murder of Marian Parker, one of the most heinous and notorious crimes in the history of Los Angeles. The killer was quickly caught and executed by hanging within a few months. The home in which Marian Parker lived still stands.

The quality of this recording isn't the greatest, but it's listenable. Vernon Dalhart waxed at least two other records about this case.

I don’t remember the name of the performer, but it was an old blues song titled: “Your small tiny little”.

As promised earlier, I found a song without these three words in the title or lyrics: “Trying to Get to you”, originally by the Eagles (but not the California Eagles), made most famous by Elvis (but not by Costello), and covered by many others, Rick Nelson, Roy Orbison, Shakin Stevens, recently by Chris Isaak. Enjoy!
