He claims licensed civilians aren't trained well enough. Have you ever seen a news report about police shootouts where they tell you how many shots were fired...like 30 rounds expended for two hits?
We already know of a Georgia stay-at-home mom who hit an intruder with five out of six shots from a .38 revolver,I don't think many cops could match that.
Also my 73 year old eyes get a workout at the range at least once a month with my 1911,.357/.38 Special snubbie and a Ruger Vaquero in .45 Colt...although it is getting a little expensive...I'm considering re-loading.
My best groups are with my snubbie...a 2 1`/2 inch total titanium Taurus...3 inch groups at 25 yards...not too bad for an old fart like me!
Reloading is the way to go, and it's a lot of fun, too. If you shoot .45 Colt, it's almost not optional, IMHO. The equipment will pay for itself pretty quickly.
