You are certainly right about politicians and their relatives sense of privilege. I’ve found myself on the bad end of it before.
I don’t deny that plenty of LE are A*+holes. There are about three in my station that I will immediately send away if they show up at an incident I have the handle on. I certainly hope you challenged the citation.
On a side note I’m also a Texan. Born in Jasper, and now trapped on the left coast.
Jasper Texas is one of my Favorite places ... it is growing a bit too fast but the Lakes and the Pines and Hills make it so much different than South Texas.
More humid and freshwater fishing is a bit more challenging but a fun place to go. My friends up in that neck o woods swap with me, I go up there and they come down here.
