Unless their paycheck, pension and/or benefits were on the line, then hell yes they’d come through your door with guns blazing.
May be true of Federal employees, but I doubt local LEO’s will want to risk their lives confronting angry armed citizen’s in their own locale just for a paycheck and bene’s....
They would then become targets in general whenever they were on duty, wherever they were....or even in their homes...even putting their families at risk.....
