The National Rifle Association met with Vice President Joe Biden Thursday and it did not go well.
“We were disappointed with how little this meeting had to do with keeping our children safe and how much it had to do with an agenda to attack the Second Amendment,” the group said in a statement released Thursday afternoon.

The National Rifle Association of America is made up of over 4 million moms and dads, daughters and sons, who are involved in the national conversation about how to prevent a tragedy like Newtown from ever happening again. We attended today’s White House meeting to discuss how to keep our children safe and were prepared to have a meaningful conversation about school safety, mental health issues, the marketing of violence to our kids and the collapse of federal prosecutions of violent criminals.

Biden had to go through the motions. The NRA went through the motions to show they were interested in real issues. I’m sure the NRA knew how this would go. Now they demonstrated they were serious about the real issue and can legitimately argue their position.
The executive order has already been written. Now the Whitehouse is going through the motions with the Attorney General to make whatever comes seem legit and thoughtful.
Can’t wait to see what is revealed in the envelope.

I’ve never held a gun in my hand and don’t have any desire to do so. However, a few days ago, I joined the NRA as a lifetime member. I want my Second Amendment freedom protected; whether I exercise that freedom is my decision.
Sandy Hook was part of that plan. You can bet on that.

I am surprised they bluntly said it was such a waste of time and accused biden of doing a show meeting. It is pretty open to say that.

Impeach any elected official that attempts to violate the 2A. They are not upholding their oath of office and they need to be removed.
BTW - When asked why I need an high capacity semi-auto rifle I have been responding that I need it to defend myself against gun grabbing communists. Then I ask how long they have been a communist or are they just a communist sympathizer.
