The ONLY gun law this country should have is a simple background check.
Yes, with NO records kept. Persons who have lost or otherwise forfeit their right to own or carry should be placed on a national list and that would be checked first. This list should be kept in a way that a person would have access to know if they’re on the list and why and a procedure to appeal, un-like the no-fly list.
