Owning pets & traveling can be problematic. These people probably don’t have someone to take care of their pet, & instead bring it along. Certainly, they need to be more careful if there are things going on (like fireworks) that would frighten the animal.

That being said, my sweetie had a travel trailer when we got together set up to allow his cats to go camping with him. It had a door that they could go out when they wanted to explore & a way to get back to safety when they needed to. The cats LOVED to go camping. When we started loading the trailer they would get in & purr loudly, all ready to go.

Very interesting,when we moved a couple of times always kept cats indoor for at least a week before letting them out.
Would never bring them on a trip to nervous they would get out and get lost.
