Ha! You think Maryland has it bad. Here in NY the legislature couldn’t steal enough working part time. For years they’ve considered themselves full time legislators. The biggest crooks somehow manage to also have no-show jobs being “Of Counsel” to large ambulance chasing law firms and are handsomely rewarded for whoring themselves out to the tort bar at the expense of taxpayers and other crime victims.
If you live in Maryland you wince everytime you hear the words “legislative assembly”. Maryland’s road signs should read :”Welcome to the People’s Republic of Maryland” (one Party, one vote)
