crawler...
************************
Saw it up close on “Dirty Jobs” ,, they use several 5 gallon pails of grease on each of the 4 tractors before each move.. the road is gravel and no it doesn’t sink in..

I had “VIP” seating for the last 2 Saturn launches ,, just about 1500’ from the pad... not only does the ground shake but you get an instant tan.. could never do that today.

NOW. I assure you that everything I said about the 'crawler' initial testing is true.

When I read the article on the 'crawler', the TV show DIRTY JOBS wasn't even yet a thought in the mind of some future TV producer. They did not exist when this occurred, and just because they did not feel it important to include it in the show as information, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Did you know that when they first built the VAB, It had (INSIDE the building) it's own clouds and rainstorms ? They had to redesign and improve the air exchange/heating/cooling system to prevent the 'storms' ?

You are a very fortunate person.
