RE :”Give me a break. And they are no longer the Bush tax cuts, they are the Obama tax cuts and they have no sunset clause. “

Great point, the original Bush tax cuts had automatic expiration dates that required no action to go back up it near impossible to stop.

But Bohner got those Bush rates forever or until two Houses of congress and the POTUS pass a bill increasing them, very difficult to do(unless troublemakers in the House are successful making Pelosi Speaker again).

This is a major victory for the taxpayer thanks to Bohner’s bravery under fire.

The "troublemakers" in the House are the ones who got the Reps control of the House in 2010. Boehner would not be speaker without them. And Boehner has not cut any spending. Instead spending continues to rise and so does the national debt. If we lose the House in 2016, it will be because of the 85 who voted for the bill, not the 151 who voted against it.

This is a major victory for the taxpayer thanks to Bohner’s bravery under fire.

A victory for the taxpayers? Are you crazy? This bill is adding to spending, the debt and deficit, and will cost thousands of jobs. The taxpayer will be the big loser in the long term. We can't continue down this same path. It is insanity. When are we going to make some real spending cuts?
