I remember when I didn’t know what they meant by “health insurance”. No company I ever worked for at the time offered it nor did any company my parents ever worked for. Back then you’d go to one doctor for most everything. Need your tonsils out? Go to Doc Verser. Need a broken bone set? Go to Doc Verser. Got the flu? Go to Doc Verser. When my mother was pregnant and about to deliver me, she went to Doc Verser.

And an office visit didn’t get up to more than $25 until the 70s or maybe 80s. People could afford to go to the doctor back then. Affordable healthcare is a falsitude. It’s all about insurance.

And I’m not THAT old.

The biggest problem with Dodd-Frank is that it’s not Glass-Steagall.
