CLEARLY, they did not have one so the public embarrassment would've only weakened an already weak Speakership and offered no gain.
For all the whining and moaning here and on the Hill about Boehner, there's no one who wants to step into that job. They're paper tigers. Sound and fury signifying nothing.
Excuses. We need fewer.
Acceptance of reality. We need more.
Try that. Because I’m sure they would have voted for someone.
You have a point its a thankless job and when you have the House and no Senate and an illegal President who doesn’t have clue when he’s off prompter, no budget in 1,300 days, its that much tougher.
I say warts and all we are foolish if we don’t try to work with Boehner.
