I’ve looked at the numbers. They’re job is far less hazardous than others. Professional drivers for instance. Heck, I’m more likely to be killed in an auto accident than a cop is to be killed in the line of duty ...And another thing. I’ll respect those who earn my respect. I wonder how many cops walk up to a car they just pulled over for running 5 mph over and showed “respect” to the citizens who pay their salary, and their retirement?

Last night riding the subway here in NYC there was a cop waiting by the door between the cars (its a ticketing offense to walk between the cars) just waiting. Hey why not walk through the train to the empty car with the possibly dead guy that stunk like he had been rotting for a week? No. His job is to fill ticket quota’s.
And yes. all the cars were filed with one exception.
