Once upon a time being a serial post and runner without commenting earned one a zot.
Because it’s darn irritating to come into a thread and have the thread poster not speak at all.
Becoming suddenly mute or suffering sudden keyboard blackouts once one posts is not likely or plausible.
I’ve always been amazed, if you look at it like a dart board, it’s harder to get a ‘D’ than any other grade.
Remember that picture of his scrawny little ass at the beach? The press was ga-ga over his "pecs".
I don’t understand the issue here. Would it have been better if the article wasn’t posted at all? Why do people want the poster to add a comment?
A timeline question...she remembers his father coming in to the class in 5th grade...was the Kenyon father still around by 5th grade? I thought he had already been off to Indonesia with dad #2 by then.
The pøs is an evil asshole, and I hope to live long enough to see the just desserts served .. cold, very cold.
I think you are is the wrong place.
LOL Then again, the nuns told us that he would probably come dressed in a business suit.
See post 42.
As I said, Once upon a time.
Because it was extremely irritating to go into a thread and have the thread originator play mute.
Especially when they have a pattern of never commenting on anything they post.
Goes back to ‘thread etiquette’ circa 2000 when I signed up to FR and everything was done via hand-HTML.
Posting and running is annoying and doesn’t engender discussion.
It merely says that you’ll post stuff and never say anything.
It’s also a form of forum trolling.
“I think Barack Obama IS a nice guy. I think hes a nice guy with the wrong political & economic viewpoint.”
Why does that remind me of the people who say of some guy named Adolph, “He was a great patron of the arts!”
What, like you wouldn't remember the father of young Prince Barry coming to talk?
I remember a lot from around 5th grade - getting sent to the office for daring to need to go to the restroom during lunch, reading The Witch of Blackbird Pond, fishnet kneehighs, the mean girl stabbing me with her pencil in Art class which left the lead mark for decades, attempting to play softball, judging the end of the year races, the cute blonde guy who had heart surgery, staring at the back of Max's buzz haircut, the high and mighty Lisa who cheated off me but claimed I cheated off her, the reflection off my locker of a hot pink dress mother made for my piano recital (obviously "The Pink Panther Theme"), my group's presentation on Norway, how hot it was in May even with the windows open, a creep who pushed me down on the walk home causing me to have a bad knee to this day, my best friend Crystal who had beautiful silvery hair, the teacher who griped because I read aloud too fast in Social Studies (iirc, it was India and the same teacher didn't know what a sloth was), directing David who liked me over to my friend Becky, messing up "America" in choir tryouts, dressing up as Minnie Mouse in the talent show, sitting on the steps, the science fair, Eisenhower's portrait hanging beside my desk, the teacher reading "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" to us, etc. BTW, I was in kindergarten right around nap time when JFK was assasinated and the nuns brought a tv into our room. As much as I remember, I can't remember a single assembly or speakers. Yawn, most kids fall asleep during those.
Didn’t they win a state championship?
I was stabbed in the leg with a pencil in 5th or 6th grade! The lead worked it’s way out a few years ago. I had this pucker mark just above my knee with the lead in it for decades. Happened in music class and was some girl i was bothering just turned around and did it.
what was even funnier was that our classmates, we have twins in our class, they were born right before then, literally their numbers in that hospital were right before his. Their mother knew the doctor who delivered him.
Uh, huh. And why doesn't the interviewer ask her for the NAME of the doctor, or the hospital where theis supposedly took place? Maybe she wouldn't know or wouldn't remember. But wouldn't it be part of a talking head's job to at least ASK?
Oh, you mean the photo of enhanced pecs and, uh, nether region? The photoshopped light and dark skin and photoshopping that went so far as to change the color of his swim trunks from black to red (or was it red to black, whatever that purpose was).
Pretty sure.
Ban pencils!
