Luckily, I am pretty well stocked on powders and primers. Also bought a furnace and some molds just in case the situation gets very bad.
While in the Navy, stationed at Pensacola, I would try to shoot my 38 once a week at one of the many sand pits. After shooting, I would pick up a coffee can full of bullets that the rain brought up to the surface. I would recast them with my lyman single bullet mould. Loading target loads, and casting my own bullets, the largest expense was the primer.
I was loading 38’s for cheaper than I could buy 22’s.
