Fifth place is not all that bad, considering SP has all but retreated and the others hold the highest office & position of all women around the globe, thanks to marrying presidents and, or being a media billionaire, with teams of consults & media making them appear accomplished, brilliant and terribly special 24/7.

Governor Sarah Palin has not been in the spotlight too much in 2012 so it really doesn’t surprise me that she fell some. Although still in the top 5 even with 2 percent is still in the top 5. Not horrible...
I turned off the news after the Marxist’s reelection and I haven’t watched much since. The entire fiscal cliff was a complete turn-off, so I didn’t engage in that either.
It’s up to our TEA Party to save what’s left of our Republic. I’m still willing to fight, but even I need a break from these spineless moderates and TV talking heads.

Hillary’s been sick and Palin’s been quiet.
Nothing more than that.
I doubt he made a statement to that effect directly. I don't doubt that he had his staff carry the message to Palin to butt out for his buddy Dewhurst's sake. Ol' Rick may be a slippery weasel prone to gaffs on stage but he ain't that stupid.
The key point here is that Palin's endorsement was the critical turning point that turned Dewhurst's "slam dunk" for the senate into a Cruz victory. Texas Tea Party conservatives know the real deal when they hear one.
Ted Cruz credits Palin with his shocking win over Dewhurst.
Perry endorsed Dewhurst who was the automatic winner of course, at least, until he lost to Palin's candidate.
Palin also gave us our only Senate pick up, with Deb Fischer over Senator Bob Kerry in Nebraska.

Good Lord man, we don’t Romney to ever speak out again.
Pray that the Romney disaster has been limited to the damage that he has done already in his 20 year political life.
We have to use the coalitions we build, after all, look how many millions of campaign cash was spent on it. If that money were spent on building a factory, we wouldn't walk away from it if the market for the intended product collapsed (except for Solyndra, maybe), we'd keep the factory and repurpose it.
But we just walk away from hundreds of millions of dollars invested in a candidate, instead of using it as an investment to be built upon.
Sure, Romney isn't ideal, but he had the forum for awhile, and we could have used it to some effect.
My original point is still this: You're not relevant unless you are a player. Romney could still have been a player; he still had political inertia to leverage for some good for Republicans, but he chose to let it dissipate.
Palin's momentum has dissipated. She needs to build up new political capital.

As a Texan I’d take Palin over Perry any day. Perry was one of the many Texas democraps that switched parties when they saw the Reagan Revolution happening before their eyes.

Romney did, to remind us that he wanted to homosexualize the military and the Boy Scouts, and to reject the party's pro-life platform and re-endorse his pro-abortion position, which he did after he won the nomination.
Palin led us to astounding victories in 2010, and had a great election 2 months ago, as the rest of the party went down in flames, and you think that she doesn't have more "political capitol" than anyone in the party?
Today's vote for Boehner demonstrates that she's just pissing in the wind right now getting people elected. Once elected, she's not there with them to keep their fortitude up when it counts. And she can't stop Boehner from removing conservatives from committees either, right?
What happens to Palin's "wins" if Boehner leads the Republicans to a Pelosi House in 2014?
I still say that she needs to get back in it directly. She needs to make law, not law-makers!
