Anyone in NYC notice that Despot Bloomberg also practices Nazi tactics when it comes to small businesses? Like when the Nazis painted “Juden” on store fronts, Despot Bloomberg practices the same method. He forces businesses to hang up signs in their store front rating how good the government thinks they are. A means you are OK. B not so good, C bad D the worst. Isn’t that wonderful? The autocracy of NYC like the Nazis informing the public to stay away from certain businesses. Forget the free market, word of mouth, the government determines whether or not you will have a successful business.
Come on NYC, you can do it. People will be clamoring to just climb right in.
Is that for all businesses or just for restaurants? In Ohio the county board of health just issues pass/fail evaluations and if you don't pass you have a very short time to fix your problems or your restaurant is shut down.
What you’re referring to is health department standards. But I agree that having a large “A” displayed outside a restaurant is deeply unattractive and stupid. In the old days, you simply walked into the restaurant and saw the rating posted. But Bloomberg is a health freak of the first order. I can’t wait for that sob to go...
