I followed the links around that link you posted. It seems a Falcon 900 made an emergency landing in Ahvaz, but I didn’t find any reference to the US government, or the military operating any of these aircraft. It was enroute from the United Emirates to somewhere else, and Qatar operates Falcon 900s privately and the United Emirates operates these aircraft in their military.
Our Secretary of State would likely be flying a Gulfstream or something, so, I think that airplane crash story is false.

Sending a UAE Falcon into Iran is better deception than using a US Govt. Gulfstream.
