‘hovercraft’ inside the Hump’dome are nothing new as I recall.. I still think they should remove the dome, flood it and stock it with fish, use it for fishing year round and snowmobile racing in the winter.

I remember when Larry Csonka and Mercury Morris were trying to both get 1,000 yards in the same season, which had never been done before by two running backs on the same team. At the end of the season Larry Csonka was well above 1,000 yards but Mercury Morris came up 6 yards short of 1,000.
The NFL reviewed every Miami Dolphins offensive play that year and found that a lateral from Earl Morrall to Morris was ruled a fumble that was charged as a fumble by Morris. They changed the ruling from a fumble by Morris to a fumble by Morrall. It had been a six yard loss. After ruling that the fumble should have been charged to Morrall, Morris got his 1,000 yards.
I suspect that that is what the NFL or maybe even the Vikings are doing as I type to try to find 9 or 10 yards that can be given to Peterson.
