Too many decent men and women have fought and died for America on battlefields here and all over the world for people like us to throw up our hands and become Boehner-like Surrender Monkeys in a battle where our lives are not even on the line.

Zulu, I am trying not to give in to despair.

I have never seen such a lack of leadership in DC on ALL levels, and across both parties as I see today.

The real fight is just beginning, with gun control and the debt ceiling fight dawning after New Year’s.

The challenge will be to organize and to be relentless in opposition to any erosion of our Constitutional rights.

This will be our generation’s fight, and contribution to the American Republic.

I will NEVER leave this Republic unless it is to go to Jesus. I will stand with Patrick Henry... some things are worth fighting for and some thing are worth dying for. Imagine if Washington had looked at that icy river and at his tattered and starving troops and said, “It's over boys... we can't win... let's go home”.
