Yes sitting a lot (airline seats?) is an issue for those affected. I had a biz colleague who was prohibited from flights > 1 hour because of clots.

That's true.Another possibility is that if there was,in fact,some sort of head injury a subdural or epidural hematoma could have resulted.I'm not sure of how quickly the onset is seen but I did work in an ER for some time so I have some familiarity with such issues...but certainly not *great* familiarity.
