Basically, it was about how gun rights have been eroded, how government seems to want to create criminals, how abuses by the BATF are shameful.

My attitude is that any man too dangerous to own a gun is a man too dangerous to walk free. I have no problem with felons owning weapons because a huge proportion of felons are non violent offenders.

A violent offender will be violent whether he has a gun or not. About a year ago a local cop was run down and killed by two recent parolees who were robbing a bank. If a felon wants to get a gun he'll get one anyway as the guy who ambushed firemen on Christmas did.

I agree with your opinion on felons owning firearms. the issue of felons owning firearms was simply a way for the socialist to get their “nose in the tent” on gun control, exciting Americans against “felons in possession” of firearms!

If someone has served their time, paid their debt to society in full, what right does the government have to prevent him or her from exercising their basic fundamental right to keep an bear arms?

Now, it is any firearm that has one (1) characteristic of a "military style" from which Americans will be prohibited from possessing. God help a single Republican who votes in favor of this proposed gun control bill that Fienstien admits they have been working on for more than one (1) year! That should tell every American exactly what is really going on! The socialist were just waiting for a shooting the could exploit to push their never ending gun control legislation! 82nd ABN Div. 1/508th BN
