Bingo. My marriage was destroyed by psychos like that, and my wife's inability to break away from them (she was imprisoned by emotional blackmail and not knowing any better).

NO!!! You don’t understand! Half this and the other the thread thinks they had the right to do all that. There are no barriers on the parent if they paid for college. It was your obligation to bow and scrape.

I have to wonder if there are more than a handful of actual people with sense left on this country. I expect it from libs, but I am starting to think they are right about most conservatives being crazy.

I hope you recovered from your experience and I’m sorry your wife could not find the strength to stand up to her parents.
