We need to ban the high-capacity clips and magazines.

All of the press must be affecting them since they're referring to both clips and magazines in the same sentence. Usually they're interchangeable to the uninitiated.

That being said, do they even make charging clips larger than 5 rounds? Most of my 7.62x54R and 8MM load nicely into charging clips for my Mosins and Mausers, respectively, but anything larger than 5 rounds, I have to imagine, would be a little unruly if not downright impossible to use.

The standard clip for a SKS is 10 rounds.

The clips for chargeing M16s mags are 10 rounds.

The WW2 M1 Garand rifle uses an 8-round double stack clip.
