Full title: David Gregory Mocks NRA Leader for Proposing Armed Guards in Schools But Sends His Kids to a School with 11 Armed Guards
In the wake of the Sandy Hook massacre, Rep. Louie Gohmert told
Fox News’ Chris Wallace that he wished the principal had a gun to prevent the carnage from taking place. NRA leader Wayne LaPierre agreed
with the idea of having armed guards in our schools, saying that, “It’s the one thing we can do immediately that can make our children more safe.” NBC’s David Gregory mocked LaPierre’s proposal, however, which brings to light (yet again) the blatant hypocrisy of some of the most vocal proponents of gun control.
But when it comes to Gregory's own kids, however, they are secured every school day by armed guards.
The Gregory children go to school with the children of President Barack Obama, according to the Washington Post. That school is the co-ed Quaker school Sidwell Friends.
According to a scan of the school's online faculty-staff directory, Sidwell has a security department made up of at least 11 people. Many of those are police officers, who are presumably armed.
Moreover, with the Obama kids in attendance, there is a secret service presence at the institution, as well.
It's safe to say the school where Gregory sends his kids is a high-security school. It's just odd he'd want it for his kids, but wouldn't be more open to it for others.
And Gregory is claiming “hypocrisy”???
The safety of their kids is so much more important than the safety of everyone else’s kids though because they’re the children of high profile communist party members.
LaPierre should have staffers research stuff like this before going on air. Not only Gregory, but his bosses and paymasters.
Being defensive all the time does not cut it.

Yep, Gregory and Obama are prime examples.
The security at my kids school is you push a buzzer set high and away, that unlocks the door while it is pushed, so you need to use both hands. The thing is designed to be child proof. I always have a hard time with it.
Just as there are two levels of justice in the country, one for the financial wizards, celebrities and elite, there are two levels of security.
Doesn’t matter whether you are right or left or center. The fact is that if you are not the elite of the right, left or center, you are on the bottom.
I wasn’t aware of that but it doesn’t surprise me The Won would do that.
You know, I just don’t get it. I don’t get how the Democrats are getting away with this propaganda about how awful it is to have armed guards in schools.
There are Democrat dominated districts across the US that FOR YEARS have had schools that resemble armed camps. But now when the NRA suggests cops in schools, all of a sudden it’s the worst idea ever.
Screw ‘em.
Never meet with a liberal anywhere, anytime, anyhow, to discuss anything, without first having a wheelbarrow full of personal dirt to throw in his face. Then, when he's lying there at your feet, blinking up at you in utter disbelief and shock, haul off and kick him in the Cracker Jacks so hard his eyes start spinning up like the reels on a one armed bandit.
Couldn’t agree more...The libs have school districts that wouldn’t have been able to function without armed security for many years and that security is not there because of law abiding citizens who have guns.
Now the majority of those libs are calling for gun control and even confiscation knowing full well those districts and themselves will still be protected by armed security.
Screw ‘em is right.

Hey David Gregory, our public schools have resource officers in the schools (Jr. and High School). (PD officer) I am thankful for that.
Gregory belongs in prison for deliberately violating the DC gun ban.
I believe I read today somewhere that Gregory was aware he was breaking the law by having that magazine but went ahead anyway, if that’s the case I agree.
I read today that they dug up someone who supposedly gave permission- but they were originally told no by the first person they called or something like that. Sounds like someone is calling in favors.

If a School wants an armed guard they should be able to hire one.
If a school wants to ditch the “Guns Free” BS they should have that choice.
If a school wants to let their teachers conceal carry... why the hell not?
