Well, I would definitely agree with that.

My apologies for harsh response.

While I am in favor of arming those teachers who believe that they could be effective with a firearm, I also think that most teachers would not be very effective at all. They simply are not trained to kill, nor arrest or subdue.

I am very much in favor of an in school armed response team that is on grounds all the time. Even over night if need be. Certainly such a team could be better directed to a quick response with the type of system you have described.

I am also in favor of other electronic security measures to further back up and assist these armed men in such a way to make them as efficient and effective as possible.

I do not agree with those that say fortifying schools in such a manner creates a police state. It may well create a police school, but I’m ok with that. I want these children to be incredibly well defended.

I am not for gun control at all, except those laws which do attempt to keep weapons out of the hands of known criminals, but we also know that such laws are mostly ineffective, because criminals do not obey laws by definition.

I am for using the gun, the tool and means of freedom, to protect our freedom.
