I tried to find this book to buy it, and it is now so rare that it’s over $200. Did the government buy up all the available copies? It sounds to me that it would be profitable for the publisher to have a new printing.

Just for grins i searched that title on Kindle and did not see that particular text, but it did offer me Matt Bracken’s ENEMIES FOREIGN AND DOMESTICS trilogy. Hmmm.

Unintended Consequences was one of the best books I have read. The historical account of how the 1934 NFA was enacted and and how the Supreme Court decided the Miller case was jaw dropping. My copy, now worth hundreds of dollars sits proudly on my book shelf. This is a must read for anyone associated with the so called gun culture. I never could figure out why John Ross didn't do a paper back edition.

I bought two when they came out and had John autograph them at a pro-2A rally in Denver (there were more cops than there were of us), I still have one and gave the other to a friend. The BATF tried to intimidate him because of the book. They didn’t like the way they were portrayed poor babies. I’ve read it several times but not recently.

The publisher has had a note up on the U.C. order page that a paperback volume will be released soon. The notice has been there for YEARS. Damned shame, that, because John is literally the father of a genre...

I once found a .PDF of the novel named “uc.pdf” but it would be a copyright infringement to distribute it. I hadn’t a clue my hardbound edition was worth THAT much...
