What do you recommend? Birdshot? Any particular number shell? I have a Remy 870 Tactical and a Remy 1187 Tactical Autoloader w/ .00 buck, but am more practiced with my Kimber .45 ACPs .230gr HP, in an interior situation (IDPA). At 10ft, my Remys' .00 buck give a 1¾-2" pattern.

I am nothing even vaguely resembling an expert.
There are others around here that will be a lot more use to you for advice.
All I know is that 00 buck is a lot more likely to go through walls, and at really close range I also don’t think there’s a huge amount of difference in the wound produced between shot types.
But, as said, not an expert.

What do you recommend? Birdshot? Any particular number shell? For CQB inside, use '0' or #1. It put out the most effective lead out into the best pattern. Also lessens over-penetration.
#1 is particularly recommended for inside work. If it is for a mixture then go with #1 & single 0.
