Permitting wouldn’t have stopped a single mass shooting. So clearly THAT is just an opportunistic political move on the graves of the innocent children.

Voluntary buy-backs are fine in my book. I don’t think people should be forced to own guns, and if they already own guns, they should have a way to get rid of those guns, since we don’t want them to throw them out where they could fall into the hands of criminals.

We could then sell the guns at gun shows, and the government could do background checks if they like.

We often say that gun laws only target the law-abiding. But a compulsory buy-back would make criminals out of a lot of gun owners, because they would not comply.

Well let them sell them on their own. The feds have no business using my tax dollars to fund this. We should be cutting spending and yet these liberals want to spend even more.

Almost any decent gun shop will BUY any guns you wish to remove.
