How can any entity buy “back” something that was never theirs in the first place? Even the word used to describe the proposed event is a lie.

The average moron low-information voter thinks all money belongs to the government, and it allows us to take some of it home. Those same idiots voters would easily be convinced that all guns were manufactured only with the consent of government, and hence guns belong to it.
