Denial? Can you read TR? Newt pointed out one very important thing and that is the fact that most Americans have family, friends, fellow employees who are gay. It doesn’t mean he is supports gay marriage, it means the republicans are facing an uphill battle in fighting gay marriage because of the mainstream acceptance.

We get it. Christmas day; you come on Newt threads right off the start with this rudeness. You literally have it out for the man. Most of everything Newt shared is true and helpful. Stay with the message. He didn't promote gay marriage. I am totally against it. I didn't heard that. He says marriage is between one man, one woman. What part of that is hard to follow. He only said something that many do not want to accept that there's too many people accepting that lifestyle. How can you undo their thinking. They have been conditioned with a society without God. And some people think it's your body, your mind, your life so they have the freedom to do as they choose, I guess is where it may come back to as this thinking. Where did that come from? But the GOP has to accept, this is not a path to build their party. Accept civil unions, not GM, don't promote it at all. They do that and they are done. Their base is on life support with just a few issues. Gay marriage and gun control which has moved ahead of borders for right now. They do something dumb with anti traditional values, they are asking for trouble. It looks like the man is trying to help the problem. Wait to see what happens and hope something positive comes vs a negative outlook.
