The voters didn’t hold Obama accountable for his destructive policies on Election Day because those policies haven’t gone into effect yet.
No elderly patient has yet been denied drugs under ObamaCare; no small business owner has yet to have his taxes raised, forcing him to lay off workers. The pain of Obama’s policies has been anesthetized so far by postponing the policies’ implementation.
Going over the cliff MEANS implementing Obama’s policies, particularly raising taxes on business owners. THEN the pain will be felt, and then the majority of voters will regret having re-elected Obama.
But it will be too late by then; we’ll be at the bottom of the cliff bemoaning our broken economy while Obama’s main concerns will be what time to schedule his next golf game, his next vacation, his next empty bloviating speech which the MSM will praise as positively Lincolnesque in its eloquence.
Not to mention all of the ill effects will be blamed on Republicans Obama seems to always rise unscathed
With the anti-business views of most of the American people, I doubt they will ever admit wrongdoing in electing or reelecting Obama. People truly believe that they can force some rich neighbors to subsidize their own expenses.
I also think one of his main concerns will be some sort of catastrophe that allows him to go for a third term whether or not by election.
What you said! My Brother In Law still says that because the dems horrible policies had the demonic results extended until after the elections, that most people have not yet felt the terrible sting from those policies.
