I think the point is being missed by all, and I will post a vanity as soon as I get around to it.

Simple: the House controls the checkbook. They get to tell Jr. how much he can spend. Period. Pass the bill, send it to him, and if he doesn't like it he gets less, i.e. shut 'er down entirely. The President is the executive, he gets to execute. Execute with what he has been given. Let the House pass what it will, and let 'em wash their hands. In my NSHO that is the main focus of their job anyway, so do it, suck it up, and enjoy the fallout.

Yes, the House controls the checkbook, but John Boehner and the people in his House district were absent the day that lesson was taught in civics.

The only thing that I have been watching for is if they raise the debt limit. All the rest of this crap I only consider to be smoke and mirrors.

I admit that I'm not real smart about all this. If I am wrong, and you are able, please educate me RKM.
