How about a serious conversation?

There are far too many guns to confiscate. Perhaps 20% to 30% of the population might turn them in but that’s about it. As some have pointed out there are far too many that are untraceable. Most cops I know wouldn’t follow through on such an order. Active confiscation would result in a hot mini-civil war. I say mini because I believe most Americans don’t have the backbone to defend their Constitution or rights and would just roll over.

So how could the government try to eliminate, reduce and or control gun ownership?

1. Ban certain types of ammunition Ex: .223 & 7.62

2. Ban all future sale and transfers of all “assault weapons” and their related parts

3. Review all recent background checks over the previous years and withhold income tax returns until those individuals turn in or register their AR’s & AK’s

4. Enforce EU style registration for all firearms

5. Prohibit gun ownership for a laundry list of reasons including misdemeanors

These are very plausible methods FRiends and don’t think Boehner or the SCOTUS will save you because they’ve proven they won’t.
