Understood. One good thing that's happening in Detroit is some tightly controlled bacon in the form of a new international bridge. Canada is effectively paying for the bridge so that money won't have any Detroit control. We have to pay for the land on our side but that will go primarily to property owners. The big bonus will come with jobs in warehousing, truck terminals and other freight related infrastructure.
Basically its treating Detroit like a drug addict by offering them a hand up without handing them cash to blow. The cash will be available but only if they work for it.
