We're already #1 in spending millions on ballot propositions only to have the losers find a judge to ex post facto declare the proposition to be unconstitutional. Why don't they just do that as a part of qualifying the proposition for the ballot in the first place?
I guess the judges want to see if it becomes moot first by losing? I'd say that it wasn't moot if the millions were spent whether the propositions wins or loses, but we'd rather know before spending the money.
P.S., the propositions aren't really unconstitutional, it's just the way that losers get to overturn elections that they don't agree with.

Why do businesses continue to try to operate in CA? Time to pack up and leave. Maybe put a nice banner explaining why in the window when they leave.
