Unfortunately, the women GOP lawmakers are more likely to let their “protective” instincts overrule common sense and go with the Demonicrats on this. I have one such legislator.

I see in that bill that they want to limit magazines to 10 rounds. Do they realize that many of the dead and wounded at the Giffords shooting were done within the first 10 rounds.
If someone opens up using a firearm with a 10 round mag how soon will these same snakes begin to demand a six round magazine.

If you look at all the "gun free" zones elementary schools are the most vulnerable thanks to the Gun Free School Zone Act. That law prohibits even off duty law enforcement from bringing their gun into a school regardless of agency policy.
If Pubbies vote to support a bill to have an Assault Weapons Ban or magazine limit they will have slit their throat for future elections. Millions of INNOCENT gun owners will vote third party instead of for those lemmings.
My suspicion is that the Dems don’t really want a vote. They are pressing the issue to force the Republicans to act against it.
I think gun control is still a losing issue and may come back to bite liberals big time.
The pubs ought to offer a bill that any state wishing to preserve the Second Amendment is free and clear to leave the union immediately after the vote.
Nancy should show solidarity with the gun grabbers and order her security personnel to turn in all of their weapons.

You don’t make laws based on pure emotion. It wouldn’t be bad to discuss parental responsibilities, background checks,
mental illness and its treatment, school security improvement, but the gun itself is only a political football. Guns don’t kill other humans...people do, with or without guns.
Sometimes no response says more than anything they could possibly state verbally...(Translation: we're not even going to dignify that with a response). Which I hope is the tactic they use for all Obama's gun control push, don't respond, just ignore, schedule no debate, schedule no votes, and go about business as usual.
