I gave my classroom a lesson in logical fallacies when Obama uttered a straw man after being challenged by Jake Tapper. Tapper asked “there have been shootings in the last 4 years you have been president...why talk about gun control now. Where have you been?”
Obama responded, “I’ve been busy with the economy and helping families blah blah blah blah....so that’s why.”
0bama actually brought up “worst economy since the great depression” and Jake Tapper just sat there nodding his head while he avoided the question.
