As someone who was raised in TX and has lived here almost my entire 34 years.... I can speak with authority around the fact that the lib bastards in the aforementioned cities are almost entirely from California and the Northeast. I currently live in Austin and the left-wing whackos are a vocal majority that are primarily east of MOPAC (if you’re familiar with Austin). There are still plenty of hippies here, but not as many as there us to be.
Parts of Austin are a serious embarassement to the entire state of Texas. It is foreign to our nature and being.
We all understand that many came from CA and the North East looney bins.
One of my ancestors was born in TX during the Republic. My family has lived in this county since 1889. I was the first family member to move away (left in 1971, returned in 1995).
This is home and I plan to live out my days here.
