On the spending side, the Democrats’ headline concession will be accepting chained-CPI, which is to say, accepting a cut to Social Security benefits. Beyond that, the negotiators will agree to targets for spending cuts.

Also, our perpetual madness to pay people not to work (the Endless Unemployment Check) will continue.

Looks like raising the age for Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security is out (it will be "discussed" in the future.....yeah right)

the age for SS has already been raised.....what, you want people to work til 70?...maybe those with easy jobs could do it, but people that actually difficult work will have to go on disability, which will cost the govt more...
