Maybe they should push for really tough federal laws against murder. That would fix it.
But murder is one of the Ten Commandments. So they can't outlaw murder; that would violate the church/state divide.

Now, if you only kill someone that speaks the same language as you and is of the same skin color......You are simply tried for murder.
If the victim is any other color than white, of different beliefs, speaks a different language, has different (or contorted) morals, or is of a different sex...NOW YOU ARE REALLY IN BIG TROUBLE! YOU COMMITED A HATE CRIME!
Normal murder of an individual is bad but a Hate crime murder is much worse...even though the victims died way.
