Went to a movie this weekend for the first time in 2 years.
Yep, in the previews, I saw our society in a heap of festering moral corruption.
I felt assaulted.
"The mother of the gunman who killed 20 children and seven adults in Americas worst school massacre, was a gun-proud survivalist preparing for economic collapse, it has emerged.
Mark
Ah, great, a leftist “two-fer”.
They hate preppers more than they hate gun people.
Actually, possessing a firearm(s) during economic as well as a societal collapse is probably the most intelligent decision one can make.
Answer for America:
2 CHRONICLES 7:14
14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Why isn't Chicago's Mayor patrolling the streets every Fir and Sat night to explain to the yutes that they need to follow the gun laws?
Ok, but she didn’t own a gun safe. Big mistake.
Why isn't Chicago's Mayor patrolling the streets every Fri. and Sat. night to explain to the yutes that they need to follow the gun laws?
Yeah, that’s not very smart.
Even “well hidden” is not as good as a floor mounted safe.
The effort required to get at the guns is really not worth it to most.
After all, we banned drugs, and we no longer have drugs on our streets
And during prohibition we banned alcohol, and we never had any alcohol
And we made it illegal to steal and so nothing ever gets stolen anymore
And we made it illegal to commit murder, so that has stopped
So lets make it illegal to for ALL law-abidinng citizens to have guns and then no one will have them! After all why do they need them? No one ever gets robbed or murdered anymore.
It’s well-known to most FReepers, but society in general is completely missing the root causes of tragedies such as these.
I stayed up last night to watch the 49ers-Patriots game, and at game’s end came a commercial for a new video game, “Hitman.. Absolution.” As expected, the game consists of numerous sequences of mass violence.. shoot-em-up gun battles with whomever gets in the “protagonist’s” way.
Banning possession of firearms is not only unconstitutional, but completely ineffectual, when the “weapon” in this case is the one attacking the mentalities of young people who have their noses planted to a computer screen for hours at a time engaging in whatever hot, new blood-on-the-streets gaming app or DVD happens to be popular. Their brains are getting fried to the point of total desensitization. And I’m willing to bet this freak Adam Lanza was one of those obsessive “gamers.”
That said, I’m not for banning those games, but a heavy dose of deglamorization would be in order.
You can pass all the laws you want, but laws cannot change the heart of a man, and that's the plain fact that people are assiduously avoiding, particularly the goddless, among whom rank the Democratic Party that openly rejected having the mere mention of God in their platform.
American society, Liberals mostly, have chosen to decouple society from Biblical standards and principles, and then they wonder how all the insanity that follows could happen. They have sown evil and thus they have loosed evil.
There is no mystery here.
But, of course, our politicians aren’t interested in COMMON SENSE.
And, I might add... parental guidance and involvement.

"Most of lawsuits against Blitz were brought by the same three lawyers, Marketplace reports.
Consumers have accused the company of making faulty cans that explode when used to pour gasoline onto fires.
Blitz says its cans carry warnings that say you should never use gasoline to start or accelerate a fire."
"Blitz USA, which manufactures 70 to 75 percent of the portable gas cans sold in the United States, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in November in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, Del., because of the litigation. Emerson said the company at that time faced 42 lawsuits.
The lawsuits have involved adult individuals who have used gasoline to start a fire or accelerate a fire, she said."
"June 12, 2012"
"MIAMI, Okla. Blitz USA, a manufacturer of gasoline containers that has operated for nearly five decades in Miami, will close on July 31, putting 117 employees out of work."
Yep — now they’ve found that Nancy Lanza was a prepper. This could not be any more delightful for the gun control crowd than to demonize/stigmatize those preparing for economic collapse.
It’s almost as if this were a set up.
