I just heard Feinstein on the news saying that her proposed legislation has been under wraps for a year. Which basically means she was waiting for a suitable incident to unveil it. Ron Paul made a comment a while back saying that Bush and company were overjoyed about 9/11 because it gave them an excuse to pass draconian laws. Of course, said comment made him look like a crackpot and killed his presidential aspirations. I submit that Feinstein and company really do rub their hands with glee when there is a shooting with mass casualties. The more, the merrier.

It would be nice if we had some Rs on our team who were waiting for some suitable time when a CCW stopped a crime, to unveil national Vermont Carry or something like that. But, we don’t.
