A big reason for the craziness in the world today is that control of pop culture and the information most of the world sees is in the hands of dogmatic idiots who think they are smarter or more compassionate than the rest of the world. This describes a fairly large chunk of the entertainment industry, and the news media. Does anyone here doubt that with the right combination of movie themes and MSM news stories just about any idea or concept could be characterized and sold as modern and intelligent, leading to acceptance by a large number of people?
