This will all be blamed on guns...you won’t hear much about violent video games. The msm only uses incidents like this as a club against the Right.

Let’s see. We have psychotic and mentally disturbed youth who have been socially marginalized, either through self-marginalization or through the emasculination of white males by society. Then, you couple that with a decadent culture similar to ancient Rome where sexuality and violence are glamorized. What’s not to understand here?

Neither guns nor video games are to blame - the shooter is to blame. There are millions of responsible gun owners for every nut who chooses to use a gun in his crimes. There are even more millions of responsible video game players for every nut who happens to have some video games in his room at home.

any link to violent video games is only as relevant as the links between drivers who kill people while DWI and alcohol

it is not the video game or the alcohol - its in whose hands those things are consumed

with the video games, it is a question of whether or not the consumer is mentally stable and able to separate fantasy from reality, or not, and whether or not the video game is mere entertainment or an actual influence

in the case of the shooter, the real world seems to have been so shattered for him that video fantasy games may have seemed more “real” to him than the singular (distant family relations, no friends or attachments) life outside of his video games

although, in the end, he seems to have been able to recognize the error of his own mind, as suicide can be a form of admission of guilt in such a situation

what parents need to look for with their children is what kind of actual life, and actual attitudes and values they demonstrate IN THE REAL WORLD, regardless of the video games they might play

personally, with the bare facts we have, and without minimizing any faults of the father with regard to the whole family dynamic, at a minimum it might appear that the mother understood that the son was mentally damaged and she was negligent in her oversight of his activities; maybe, ‘cause maybe he just did a good job of fooling her
