I have been listening to some 12th-13th century novels. The serfs did not have a very good life then either, with or without guns. Power is almost by definition corrupt.
We must pray, and ask God to continue to bless this country and its people. Sadly, AB, I’m not sure we deserve protection any more, when too many of us seem to want to go down to the depths of depravity, - kind of like repeating the history of the Roman Empire. And we know how that story ended.
Have to say I am proud of the police in this case, where I heard they went right into the building after the guy. Thanks to those all those brave people, considering there may have been some staff that did what they could too.
I think you are so right.
Weve got a weird personality cult thing going on in this country but it will not last.
Something will break through.
Of course I dont know where, when or how.
But somethings going to break wide open.
This business about Rodham falling on her ass and getting a concussion (and not able to testify)reminds of 1991 when the Gang of 8 old Bolshies declared Gorbachev too ill to lead the nation—and then sent the tanks to level Yeltsin and the Parliament.
The lies eventually overwhelm everything else. But somebody probably gets nuked first.
Sorry but I couldn’t stomach any of that pap this morning. You could have almost predicted what 2/3 of the dialogue would be about.
As we both know buddy it not about any of that. Its all my political side beat yours and little else.And, we know who has been winning and why.
Thanks,there was another one on Gateway about the aclu and how they were protesting about how you can’t deprive someones rights over being insane or such crap. Don’t know if i posted it here or not.
The lies eventually overwhelm everything else.

Yes! The whole “Susan Rice nomination” was most likely just a diversion, - part of the ongoing shell game, - so that J. F’n Kerry could slide through the Senate confirmation process. The ‘diverse’ administration could then put another old white man, and commie-lover, in power without any recriminations.
Yup. The government and the criminals will have the guns, The law abiding citizens, nope.
And about the mentally insane, it's the new fangled psychotric drugs that they are using, that is the common denominator at Virginia Tech, in Arizona at the Batman movie and probably now in Connecticut.
Yes, low information voters gave the edge to the Communist Party USA pick, the Democrat party. That said, low information voters will not be ready for the worst economy ever.
The Second Coming (Slouching towards Bethlehem)
—W.B Yeats
Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in the sands of the desert.
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?
From the Wikipedia entry:
The poem was written in 1919 in the aftermath of the First World War. While the various manuscript revisions of the poem refer to the Renaissance, French Revolutions, the Irish rebellion, and those of Germany and of Russia, Richard Ellman and Harold Bloom suggest the text refers to the Russian Revolution of 1917.

I have been projecting for years that our times are paralleling the story of the late 19th-early 20th century happenings. Here we are at almost the beginning of Great War, followed by the Russian Revolution. I am truly frightened for our future. (Not for mine, I will be dust; but for today's young people.)
Scary comment but bears attention,you got mine.
The saddest thought about my forecast is the quotation: Those who cannot remember the past are doomed to repeat it.
So-called news media has totally hidden from the public any history of the effects of communist regimes. So - we now have a dangerously ignorant society, at the same time that a few people with destructive intent can cause unimaginable chaos.
Probably -- but the odds are high that they'll be misinterpreted by the MSM.
Most of the AR manufacturers build "compliant" versions for sale in the AWB states. Since it's difficult to write a law that bans "ugly black scary things", they need to either list the weapon by name (AR15s and AK47s are banned by name in my state) or limit "evil features". Typical features that are dispensed with to make a AR a not-an-assault-weapon are the flash hider (that doesn't hide a flash anyway), the bayonet lug (the last large bayonet charge on US soil was during the War of 1812) and permanently fixing a collapsible stock (I'm tall so I need to attach a shoulder pad to lengthen it anyway). The modifications are in effect just stupid and meaningless, and the AWB is just a stupid and meaningless gesture to the libs. And they don't make the rifle any less ugly. If anything, today's "not-assault-rifles" are uglier than the AR15 was.
We share the same fear. All we can do is what we can do here and elsewhere.
