Sounds like a good chance to pick up a 10 year old or so truck at a discount and move it out of state.

This is an enormous expense to California business owners, which obviously will be passed on.In many cases, it will be passed on. In some, though, it won't. Customers will have out-of-state options. Those businesses will just go away. Either way, it's economic destruction.

Does Karl Malone still own a trucking company in Nevada?
Something tells me he is about to become incredibly wealthy to the point that his old NBA paychecks will look like chump change by comparison.

(Obama should change his campaign slogan to "Yes, we am!" Sounds as stupid as his administration is.)

How can they prohibit operation and still charge a fine per day? If you can’t operate it, then your refraining from operating it is [expensive] compliance already. How can they fine you for the number of days you choose the compliance method they don’t prefer??

I’m in CA, it needs to be worse than Detroit before some get that the direction of the state is bad.
Too many on hand outs and government employee welfare to care what you do to the private sector.
IMO the private sector should slow down to survival mode as best it can for the next four years then grow when a real AMERICAN oriented President next takes office.

With this election, in California the Dems finally got their Laboratory of Authoritarianism. The GOP can do absolutely nothing to hinder them. I hope the Dems pull out all of the stops and show the rest of the country what they're really capable of.
